Railway Prune

These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on Railway Prune. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

1. Respect & Courtesy

   1. Treat others as you wish to be treated. Engage in civil and respectful conversation at all times. #
   2. No offensive or abusive posts. Personal attacks, threats, or defamatory comments are strictly prohibited. #

2. Forum Language

   1. English Only. All public posts must be in English. If you need to communicate in another language, please do so through private messages (PMs). #

3. Content & Posting

   1. Stay on topic. Keep discussions relevant to railway-related matters. #
   2. No spam. Irrelevant or advertising posts will be removed. #
   3. No advertising or commercial promotion. Business ventures or classified ads of any kind are not permitted without prior approval. #

4. Appropriate Language & Material

   1. Swearing. While minor swear words are tolerated, please refrain from excessive or unnecessary profanity. #
   2. Inappropriate content. Do not post sexually explicit, vulgar, or hateful material, including racist or discriminatory remarks. #
   3. Children & sensitive viewers. If you wouldn’t feel comfortable viewing it at work or in front of children/parents, please don’t post it. #

5. Privacy & Personal Information

   1. No doxxing. Revealing or attempting to reveal personal information (names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.) about others, especially railway staff, is strictly prohibited. Violations may lead to an immediate ban. #
   2. Private messages (PMs). Do not post the contents of private messages in the public forum. #
   3. Do not ‘out’ another poster. Respect members’ desire for anonymity. #

6. Railway Staff

   1. Respect railway staff. There are many staff members here in different roles. Doxxing staff is forbidden and will result in immediate suspension until the matter is investigated. #
   2. Verified staff anonymity. Verified railway staff are the only individuals who may opt to post anonymously (without their username showing), if they choose. #

7. Copyright & Legal

   1. Copyrighted material. Only share content you have permission to post. Infringing on copyrights is prohibited. #
   2. Libel & defamation. Do not make false statements that could harm someone's reputation. #
