Driving Revenue Growth Through Commercial Leadership and Expertise
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Revenue Optimisation Leader to drive and embed revenue optimisation practices across our Revenue Trading team. Join us to lead a high-performing team and drive significant revenue growth.
In this role, you will guide and inspire a team of Route Trading Managers and analysts, building and nurturing strong partnerships with across the commercial team and wider business to seamlessly integrate commercial strategies and achieve revenue growth.
Key Accountabilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead the trading performance team, oversee the revenue management strategy, and manage day-to-day pricing decisions
- Route Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of each route’s specifics, including service types, capacity utilization, fare mix, customer profiles, and competitor environments. Create tailored yield strategies for each route
- Revenue Analysis: Implement a structured approach to analysing revenue drivers and collaborate cross-functionally to develop actionable plans. Support continuous improvement in analytical skills for route revenue managers.
- Risk & Opportunity Management: Identify and analyse trading risks and opportunities to grow overall passenger revenue. Lead the development of revenue growth plans, influencing key functions within Commercial and the wider business.
- Performance Reporting: Analyse overall period performance and provide summary reports with recommendations to enhance short and long-term strategies.
Who we’re looking for:
- Senior-Level Experience: Experience working at a senior level within a Commercial / Revenue Management role.
- Pricing & Yield Management: Strategic and comprehensive understanding of Pricing and Yield Management disciplines.
- Conflict Management Impact and Influence: Ability to manage conflicting demands, challenge assumptions at all levels and achieve buy-in and delivery of plans.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong report writing abilities.
- Dynamic Personality: Dynamic individual with the energy and enthusiasm to roll their sleeves up and tackle complex issues.
