We’re the closest heritage railway to Central London and the largest in Essex and Hertfordshire. With plans for significant expansion, including a potential rail link with Epping and the creation of a charitable trust, this is an exciting time to join our team and make a lasting impact.
We’re looking for a dynamic Business and Commercial Manager to drive our growth, oversee our operations, and shape our strategic future. This is a rare opportunity to lead a thriving heritage attraction, working alongside a dedicated team of staff and over 250 volunteers.
What You’ll Do
Provide inspirational leadership to our team, unlocking their potential.
Oversee the safe and efficient operation of our railway and heritage bus services.
Lead exciting expansion projects, including the potential Epping rail-to-rail link and the development of a Visitor Centre and Transport Museum.
Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive commercial growth.
Engage with stakeholders, build community partnerships, and secure funding for new initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Proven leadership experience in a senior management role.
Commercial acumen and a track record of delivering growth.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
A passion for heritage, tourism, or transport is a bonus!
