Great new opportunity to join our ETCS engineer team in our Kings Cross Office.
You will be accountable for managing timely and cost effective delivery of ERTMS engineering projects under the GTR ERTMS upgrade and retrofit programme scope, as the Fleet ETCS project Manager you will work alongside the Senior ETCS Project Engineer to ensure competent planning and delivery of all technical requirements.
What we want from this role is….
- Managed delivery of engineering change projects under the ERTMS programmes which meet expected safety and operational performance targets
- Delivery of projects under the ERTMS programme scope which meet agreed time, quality and cost objectives
- Development of well-structured plans to enable delivery of ERTMS engineering fleet change and overhaul programmes
- Demonstrable project control – effective team management, robust change control, delivery to plan and adherence to agreed processes
- Demonstrable management and control of risks and issues
What we want from you…….
- HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline
- Project Management qualification at Prince 2 level or similar
- Good understanding of GTR or similar rolling stock
- A minimum of 5 years project management experience in a rolling stock engineering setting
- A minimum of 3 years knowledge and experience working with ERTMS onboard systems
- Experience of managing change
