
Northern and the Yorkshire Coast Community Rail Partnership (YCCRP) have announced the return of their Easter Special family train, scheduled for Saturday 19 April. The service—popular with local residents and visitors alike—will depart Hull at 11:21 and travel the full length of the Yorkshire Coast Line to Scarborough, offering coastal views and on-board seasonal activities.

On-board experience and station events
Families travelling with at least one fare-paying adult will receive free crème eggs from the Easter Bunny and helpers on board. Passengers showing YCCRP’s Traxplorer mobile app will also receive an exclusive in-app Easter item.
Complementary events along the route include food festivals at Bridlington and Filey, while Scarborough station’s Old Parcels Office is hosting a sculpture exhibition.
