Epping Ongar Railway has confirmed that, unfortunately, the Winter Bus Event scheduled for 23rd February has been cancelled.

The cancellation is necessary due to ongoing essential engineering works along the Epping to Ongar railway line. These works have led to North Weald station being required for storing ballast and other construction materials, significantly reducing the space available and preventing the event from taking place.

The railway will resume regular public operations in April, featuring heritage steam and diesel trains alongside vintage London bus connections. These services will run on weekends and select weekdays during school holiday periods, continuing until the end of September. Additionally, several exciting events have been planned, some of which will showcase a diverse range of vintage and classic buses.
